Request a room on a higher floor for quieter settings, as the ground floor can be noisy from common areas.

The room was clean and the staff were lovely
Room was desperate for refurbishment. Ancient heating which on a bitter night was totally inadequate as was the bedding. Water was lukewarm . Food which was awful ,but I guess they hoped everyone would be too drunk to notice. Went home too cold .

My wife and i were one of the first customers of this hotel on our wedding night 32years ago. We revisited on that basis, one last time before we emigrate.

The units are recently refurbished, fashionable for additional comfort. The location is lovely, near to a canal, which afforded peaceful/extensive walks to lakes, water parks, moorlands & of course the canal as well as lakes.

Very pleasant place, good staff, good food, great location, close enough to the M42 but not too close and right on the canal very picturesque

A very family friendly hotel ideal for visiting Thomas Land and Drayton Manor (the purpose of our stay). I thought it was excellent value for money, the food in the restaurant was very good, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it.

Close to M42 for routes everywhere. Pleasant location next to canal.
Nearby M42 very noisy when outside the hotel but noise muffled when in the hotel.
